Unique (?) lithograph by the pioneer artist Fr. Kierdorff (Trier 1777–The Hague 1855), announcing a reward for a miniature portrait lost in Ghent by the painter Maya. Although Kierdorff is recorded in Ghent since 1820, no dated lithograph by him has been recorded before 1822. The present one must have been published at the end of October or the beginning of November 1821. Kierdorff was in fact the artist who introduced the lithography technique in Ghent.
