Kette aus Karneol- u. Goldperlen mit Anhänger. Römisch, 2. - 3. Jh. n.Chr. L ca. 55cm, davon Anhänger 5cm. Aus kugeligen und röhrenförmigen sowie zwei rhombenförmigen, roten Karneolperlen, dazwischen drei verschiedene Arten von Goldperlen (kugelig, rosettenartig mit u. ohne Steg), zentral ein Anhänger aus einer in Gold gefassten, längsovalen Gemme aus rotem Karneol mit Ceres mit Fackel und einer bikonischen Perle aus geätztem Karneol und einem Anhänger in Form einer Spitzamphora aus Karneol. Provenienz: Ex Shlomo Moussaieff Collection London, 1948 - 2000. Necklace composed of spherical and tubular cornelian beads as well as two rhombic beads and three different shapes of gold beads (spherical, in shape of rosettes with and without a connecting tube), in the center a pendant with a cornelian gemstone in a gold mounting depicting Ceres with a torch, a bead of etched cornelian and a cornelian pendant in shape of an amphora.
