Uniformly bound in dark blue levant morocco by Riviere and Son in the Doves Bindery style, signed and dated 1931; panels with double gilt-ruled border widely spaced forming small square cornerpieces each embellished with four small gilt circlets, spines in six compartments with five raised bands, gilt-lettered in one compartment, the others elegantly decorated with triple heart leaf ornament and central flower; board edges with single gilt rule; turn-ins with triple gilt rule and embellished at the corners with flower, heart leaf, and circlet design; top edges gilt, others uncut, (fore-edges a bit browned); blue quarter morocco slipcase.
