(5) ⁂ The designs for the first were made for the Kelmscott Press Biblia innocentium, but the intended total of 200 were never completed, and the book appeared without illustrations. Elizabeth "Bessie" Burden was Jane Morris's younger sister and worked for Morris & Co. as an embroidress for several years.
