She taught at Bath Academy of Art and then worked at Leicester Museum and Art Gallery, before settling in Birmingham. Fryer exhibited in the Royal Academy Summer Show in 1958 and became a member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists in 1966. She continued to exhibit whilst in her ninth decade, working in all mediums, although specialising in wood engraving. *Artist's Resale Right may apply to this lot.
