Venice: Giovanni Griffio, 1589-1581. 3 parts in one volume, 8° (204 x 145mm). 2 woodcut decorative part titles to the Antiquities , woodcut vignette to title of Jewish War , woodcut headpieces and initials (first part title guarded and reinforced at head and tail, variable staining and soiling throughout). Near contemporary vellum (light soiling, heavier to darkened spine). Provenance : G. Imper (later ink ownership inscription to first part title) -- contemporary ink ownership inscription to title of second work. Second edition of first two parts and first edition of final part of this scarce Italian translation. Sold together with three Hebrew-Latin grammars
