Binding lacking ties, rubbed and dried, lacking spine labels, internally quite foxed as usual; Together with a portfolio containing two unrecorded chromolithographic plates of salmon by August D. Modern chemise and slipcase of cream buckram, green levant label to match the text volume. Each plate 17 5/8 x 27 1/2 inches (45 x 70.5 cm) on gilded card mounts. Some minor abrasions. The two plates depict a leaping salmon, and a plunging salmon taking a fly. These appear to be unrecorded, but are uniform with the plates in the published portfolio of twelve (which is almost inevitably missing), and were presumably not included for reasons unknown.
