John Speed (1552-1629), an engraved 'Theatre of Great Britain' county map of Flintshire, Wales. The engraving is later hand coloured depicting Flintshire and it's towns, villages, rivers, forests, hills and mountains with inset town plans of Flint and Saint Asaph, an inset view of Saint Winifred's Well and English text to verso. Published in London by John Sudbury & George Humble and dated 1610. Gilt framed with both sides of the map displayed beneath glass. 15.7 in (40 cm) x 20.7 in (52.5 cm).
