Palmstruch's own illustrations, in the first six volumes, have been characterised as the best pictures of plants ever produced in Sweden and make this one of the most beautiful of Swedish books'. The work is usually found incomplete, as most of the stock of the eleventh volume was destroyed by fire before distribution" (De Belder). - Die letzte Lieferung von Bd. X mit den Tafeln 703-720 liegt gesondert vor. - Ohne den erst 1838 erschienenen Bd. XI mit weiteren 54 Taf., der nach de Belder in nur noch wenigen Exemplaren existiert. - Einige Tafeln etw. eng beschnitten, sehr vereinz. Wasserränder und restaur. Randläsuren.
