Jo Jo White mid 1970's Boston Celtic Road Jersey Drafted in 1969 in the first round (9th pick overall) by the NBA's Boston Celtics, White became one of the NBA's most durable players, playing in all 82 games for five consecutive seasons during the 1970s. White's skills included great defense, speed, an underrated jump shot, and team leadership. The 1970 Celtics finished with the franchise's first losing record since 1951. But with White leading the attack from the point guard position, the team returned to its winning ways in 1971. White was an All-Star for seven straight years from 1971 through 1977, and helped lead the Celtics to the NBA Championship and was named the Most Valuable Player of the 1976 NBA Finals. This late 1970's Boston Celtics road jersey was worn by White. On the left tail is the "Sand-Knit" exclusive label and below is the "Sand-Knit" label with the size "40." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Celtics" and on the back is the name "White." The player number "10" appears on both the front and back of the jersey. Excellent game wear is apparent. Among the greatest honors of White's career, the Celtics retired his number in 1992. LOAs from MEARS (A10) and Grey Flannel.
