PRIESTLEY (1894-1984); JOHN BUCHAN, 1ST BARON TWEEDSMUIR (1875-1940); JOHN BETJEMAN (1906-1984); JOHN PIPER (1903-1992); ARNOLD WESKER (b.1932); RICHARD ALDINGTON (1892-1962); & OTHERS One-page typed letter, signed 'Jack', from Kissing Tree House, Alveston, 6 October 1966, 8°, to Richard Church ('My dear Dick'), discussing records, mentions that he is 'glad you found some good reading in The Moments...rather a ragbag of a book' and invites him to stay 'perhaps working during the morning and between tea and dinner as we do' (creased on folds). One-page autograph letter, signed 'John Buchan', from Checkendon Court, 23 August 1915, 8°, to Mr Hislop, regarding settling an account, with another one-page typed letter, signed 'J. Buchan', 7 July 1915, 4°, to Mr J. Hislop, regarding terms.
