A large three-part buckle set with gilt elements, the central plate with an openwork boss surrounded by four quadrupeds on an arabesque plate; the two outer plates with similar arabesque ornament, smaller openwork bosses and openwork floral motifs; attached to the bosses, three pairs of chains with discoid pendant finials; attached to the lower edge of the central plate a thicker looped chain (finials lost); of provincial Ottoman workmanship. Silver, 360 grams, 35 cm. Fine condition. Provenance From an important Austrian collection, acquired in the 1950's.
