Lot of 23 mounted photographs, ranging in size from 2.375 x 4 in. to 9.875 x 8 in. Collection contains studio portraits, outdoor scenes, group portraits, occupational images, and more, most of which are presented in cabinet card format. Highlights include a Cincinnati storefront scene featuring a liquor store and a purveyor of parlor furniture, credited to D.C. Reddington; a portrait of Count Primo Magri, Baron Magri, and Lavinia Warren, Tom Thumb's widow who married Count Magri in 1885, in formal attire, credited on mount recto and verso to Eisenmann, New York, NY; an image of Engle's Mammoth Pennsylvania Clock by Hawver, Milford, NY; and a group portrait of six men, likely Masons, wearing top hats, badges, and fringed aprons, credited to G.B. Taggart of Ottawa. Also with a cabinet card showing seven men clad in festive hats and posed with sporting equipment and patriotic accouterments, as well as three CDVs showing groups of dapper gentlemen, among which is a quartet of men in vests, aprons, a bow ties, likely saloon keepers or bartenders, posed with a pitcher and mugs of beer, with backmark of John Haarer, Ann Arbor, MI. Condition: Condition varies. Many with spotting, staining, and surface soil.
