Each engraved to a bases with a crest on a mount, thereon a peacock amidst wheat, and in the beak an ear of wheat. Fully marked to bases. (2) Height – 33 cm / 13 inches Weight – 1703 grams / 54.75 ozt The crest is for Jejeebhoy For Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy, 2nd Baronet, Cursetjee (1811–1877), son of Sir Jamsetjee Jejeebhoy, 1st Baronet Jejeebhoy of Bombay (1783 – 1859), of Mazagone Castle, Bombay, a Parsi-Indian merchant and philanthropist who made his fortune in cotton and the opium trade with China. Jejeebhoy's services were first recognised by the British Empire in 1842 by the bestowal of a knighthood and in 1857 by the award of a baronetcy. These were the very first distinctions of their kind conferred by Queen Victoria upon a British subject in India.
