Including an elaborately decorated temple bell with rampant lion finial, chain and Garuda hook (repairs, small losses); a Buddhist priest's bell topped with a five-pronged vajra; a priest's bell topped with a recumbent bull; a hanging lamp in the shape of a fish with attached chain (possibly assembled) and a tall trident finial with reticulated blades and naga head terminals; together with a Southeast Asian covered bronze bowl, a miniature bronze study of a young elephant and its female trainer and two Thai Banchang Style bronze bracelets. Height of finial 13 5/8 inches (34.5 cm) Note: for similar bronze bells and pole finials, see Jan Fontein, The Sculptue of Indonesia (New York, 1990), no. 73 (temple bell, datable to 1289), no. 94 (naga finial), as 13th/14th century; and Fontein, Soekmono and Satyawati, Ancient Indonesian Art of the Central and Eastern javanese Periods (New York, 1971), no. 93 (five-pronged priest's bell).
