Incised Jumeau Bisque Bebe, marked Jumeau 3 and red painter's marks C X II, with closed mouth, outlined lips, fixed amber brown paperweight eyes, feathered brows, pierced ears, long cinnamon mohair wig (tightly fixed down, not removed), and jointed fixed-wrist papier-mache body in the original finish, dressed in period two-piece costume of pale gold silk with fitted jacket over ruched aqua plastron and pleated skirt, matching bonnet, undergarments, knitted socks and monogrammed leather shoes stamped 2, ht. 11 1/2 in., (glued crack from left temple to top of cheek, eyes probably reset, piercing chip on left ear, some wear in left front of jacket, skirt and socks).
