Imrei David, Chidushei Halachot on Chulin tractate, including Pe’er HaDor sermons, by Rabbi Dovid Schick Brezava. Mukachevo, [1890]. Interesting ownership notations by Rabbi Meir Chaim Ungar as well as his inscription from the period which he spent in Sopronkeresztur. Upon other side of title page Chidush Torah in his handwriting on Chulin tractate. Rabbi Meir Chaim Ungar (1905-1958, Otzar HaRabbanim 13057), served as rabbi in Hungary and authored the Ma’or HaChaim Responsa. Native of Sopronkeresztur and among its most prominent Torah scholars. From there he moved to Lakenbach and served as Av Beit Din; he later immigrated to Jerusalem where he passed away. Father-in-law of Rabbi Natan Gestetner. On other side of title page signature of publisher – son of author. Additional ownership inscriptions. [3], 7, 86 leaves. 34.5 cm. Worn title page with tears. Stains. Missing pages restored, with damage to text.
