This brass and German silver bugle follows Imperial German patterns of the 1880s into World War One. It bears a Prussian style eagle on a raised oval plaque just above the bell. The applied garland bears narrow zig-zag border lines along the upper and lower edges and has clear maker stamp: JULIUS LUDEMANN HOFLIEFERANT COLN. Upper and lower brackets with rings are in place, with mouthpiece in place and chain present but detached. CONDITION: Very good. Aged patina.
