An illuminated leaf from a Book of Hours, Northern France, c.1450, vellum leaf with 16 lines of text written in brown ink, decorative initials in red & blue, leaf size 18.5 x 13 cm, together with: Early printed leaves, A collection of late 15th & early 16th century printed leaves, including seven leaves from Durandus (Guillelmus), Rationale Divinorum Officiorum, Basel, c.1476, printed in double-column, four leaves cropped to one edge, soiled, folio and 20 leaves from Thevet (André), La Cosmographie Universelle, Paris, 1575, with woodcut illustrations, some worming to upper margins, folio, plus five others similar, and several 17th-18th century political speeches, pamphlets, Acts, etc., some defective, including Xenophon, Xenophontos Logos eis Agesilaon ton basilea.
