Although this photograph has strong traces of use it bears the signs of a well-loved and favorite photograph. It was the first photograph John Heys received from Peter Hujar It is most probably the only extant print of this image. – Strong traces of use, paper loss and tears in lower edge and corners, pinholes in edges, horizontal creases throughout, some surface soiling. Provenance: Directly from Peter Hujar to the present owner.
