Howell (James) Londinopolis; An Historicall Discourse or Perlustration of the City of London , etched portrait by C.Melan, title in red and black, double-page engraved view of London by Hollar trimmed close to border and mounted on stub, extra-illustrated with pen & ink drawing of a waterman & flag entitled 'The Badges of London" (in reverse) tipped into blank leaf and inscribed "J.Sturt, Sunday Feb. 24th 1799" on verso (short split along border at foot), also a wood-engraved portrait of ?Oliver Cromwell by Byfield bound in, text browned, eighteenth century russia elaborately tooled in blind, a little worn at edges, rebacked with gilt spine and roan label, [Wing H3091], small folio, J.Streater [& others], 1657.
