Gering gebräunt u. stellenw. leicht fleckig, nur etwa 20 Ktn. etwas stärker gebräunt bzw. braunfleckig, vereinzelt mittig geknittert. 2 Ktn. (Herzogenbusch, Unteres Scheldegebiet) mit je 2 Wachsflecken im Bild, bei der ersten Kte. davon 1 angebrochen. Gest. Titel in den Rändern gebräunt u. mit 2 kl. Randeinrissen, Kte. von Katalonien mit Eckabriss (ohne Bildverlust). Latin edition of the second volume of the three-volume atlas novus, imprint in variant b with Hondius' name mentioned first. With engraved title and 112 double-page engr. maps, all in fine contemporary colouring. - Slight oxidation to green colouring. Minor browning or staining, stronger to around 20 maps; occasional creasing at center. 2 wax stains to 2 maps each (1 with small crack at image). Marginal brwoning and 2 small marginal tears to engr. title, corner tear to 1 map (without loss of image). A fine copy bound in publisher's vellum gilt, minor staining, slightly rubbed, lacking ties.
