Contemporary vellum, sides centred with the gilt arms of the town of Middelburg, spine gilt in compartments with black lettering- and numbering-pieces. Provenance : Esiam van Damm (prize binding awarded in May 1666, inscription on front endpaper) – E.W. Wynne Pendarves (armorial bookplate).
