First Edition. "Exhaustive work on this state and its fifteen counties" - Howes. "...there is very little worth knowing about Nevada before 1881 that cannot be found in the first statewide Nevada history." - Paher. The lithographic views by Britton & Rey are of particular value. Graff 64; Howes A273; Paher 27. Contemporary solicitor receipt laid in front endpapers.
