H[ibbert] (G[eorge], editor ) Tales of the Cordelier Metamorphosed... , [?one of 64 copies], texts in Italian, English and French, signed by George Hibbert in pencil at end of dedication, etched title-vignette and 10 illustrations by Robert Cruikshank all on india paper and mounted, some foxing and offsetting, original boards, uncut, spine worn and chipped, printed at the Shakespeare Press by W.Bulmer and W.Nicol, 1821; and another (slightly smaller) copy of the same, unsigned but with an additional etching (first state of the title vignette which was subsequently alterated on left part of image ), 4to (2) ⁂ Privately printed for the bibliophile George Hibbert who had bought the manuscript at the sale of the library of Count Borromeo of Padua in 1817.
