Russell & Son, Liverpool, No. 104'878, stamped with Glasgow date letter for 1898 Both with three quarter plate gilt-finished jewelled lever movements, screwed gold chatons, bimetallic compensation balances, the first half-quarter repeating on two polished steel hammers onto two gongs, the gold cuvette with the engraved names of various cities, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, sweep centre seconds, up and down indicator, in plain circular hunter case with repeating slide in the band; the second minute repeating on two polished steel hammers onto two gongs, gold cuvette, the white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds, in circular half hunter case with inlaid black enamel Arabic numerals to the glazed aperture in the cover, the back centred by engraved initials, repeating slide in the band, the first dial and movement signed, the second dial and movement signed, case stamped T.R. 55 mm. diams.
