(4to) 34x24 cm (13x9"). Charmingly illustrated menu from the Nyack Lodge located in historic Emigrant Gap, California. The illustrations include images of covered wagons, settlers and Native Americans hunting and camping, etc. The cover features the Highway 40 sign and the lodge with snow capped mountains behind. This copy of the menu was apparently part of a birthday celebration on April 15, 1947 for a Zelma Lee, with many signatures and inscriptions from friends, as well as some lipstick impressions. A color pictorial matchbook cover from the lodge is laid in. Lot Amendments Condition: Some general wear and areas of light staining; very good.
