Lg. 7 in. silvered dial with black incised hour numbers, large blued hands, signed with monogrammed initials "H.C.c." for Herschede Clock Co. and dial reads "Lever, 11 Jewels, Adjusted". Round brass 8 day spring driven movement signed with crown over "Herschede, Cincinnati, 2629", has a lever escapement and hour strike on a coiled gong. In a carved mahogany case with large leaf and scrolled corbels, 4 ball feet and brass door bezel with convex glass; case is signed on the bottom with stamped crown over "Herschede, Cincinnati, 552". Case has an excellent original finish, missing a piece of trim on the back of the case, not running, strike spring is broken. 14.75 in. high x 29.5 in. wide x 6.75 in. deep. Weight: 14.75 lbs.
