Third edition, printed by the first printer at Reutlingen. This volume originally formed part of the large donation of books given by Hilbrand Brandenburg to the Buxheim Charterhouse. Previously a student and rector at the university of Basel and a canon of Stuttgart, he entered Buxheim as a "donatus" priest in his old age in 1506, after having made gifts to the monastery for almost 40 years. His printed bookplate, presumably removed in the 19th century, is one of the earliest. (See Victor Scholderer, "Hilprand Brandenburg and his books", The Library , 5th ser., 4, 1949, pp.196-201; M. von Arnim, Katalog der Bibliothek Otto Schäfer , Stuttgart, 1984, 118.)
