Sir Thomas Herbert's Relation of some yeares travaile, begunne anno 1622. Into Afrique and the greater Asia first appeared in 1634, with the engraved title: A Description of the Persian Monarchy . There were several English editions, it was translated into Dutch in 1658, and from the Dutch into French in the above edition of 1663.
