Hebrew Megillah manuscript written in fine calligraphy on vellum, 3 membranes, 12 columns, 28 lines. THE EDGES OF THE SCROLL CUT IN FLORAL FILIGREE AND PAINTED red green and yellow, wooden roll. (Some damage to filigree along fore edge and at beginning, some mostly pale dampstaining.) Provenance : Philip C. Duschnes, 19 August 1958. FILIGREE CUT-OUT BORDERS ARE VERY RARE.
