Lauriat Co., Boston, spine faded, a few small scratches to spine, cloth slipcase, foxing to title , title printed in red and black, frontispiece etching and 35 etched plates; Man in Art, 1892, 4to, black morocco, covers with onlaid ivory morocco border enclosing abstract figure composed of two irregularly trimmed morocco strips, upper cover with title gilt-lettered diagonally, smooth spine similarly decorated, turn-ins ruled in gilt, t.e.g., others uncut, by the Monastery Hill Bindery, slight rubbing to spine and extremities, folding cloth case, faint marginal dampstain to half-title, repaired marginal tear to F4 , 46 plates of etchings, aquatints, wood engravings, photogravures, and "hyalographs" (a form of photographic line block using a hand-drawn negative), tissue guards lettered in red, bookplate of Evelyn Bar Hamerton; together 2 vols., both London: MacMillan and Co.
