Catalogue of the posthumous sale of Hallée's collection which had first been listed in 1730 in his privately printed catalogue. The collections "In usum Delphini", "Autores cum notis variorum," and the Elzevirs were listed under three lot numbers 1,287-89, but their component volumes were sold singly. This is a very unusual catalogue in that the collection is expressly attributed to the joint ownership of husband and wife, probably the first occurrence; Bléchet identifies Le Pileur d'Apligni as either Jean-François- captain in the Picardy Regiment or Henri-August, "conseiller puis maître des requêtes." About 150 lot numbers are distinguished by an asterisk, probably indicating other properties, the "&c." following "Apligni" on the title.
