[Haarlem and surroundings]. Velde II, J. van de (1593-1641). View of Haarlem from the south. Etching after P.J. SAENREDAM, 16x23,5 cm., "P. Zaenredam jnvent. J. v. Velde sculp." in the plate. - Small restored tear(?) along top of flattened middle fold. = From a series of 12 illustrations to S. AMPZING, Beschryvinge ende Lof der Stad Haerlem in Holland (...), 1628. Hollstein 418, only state; Cat. Harlemia Illustrata 122 ("behoren tot de fraaiste en oudste stadsgezichten van Haarlem"). With the collector's stamp of E. Fabricius (L. 847a) and an unidentified manuscript collector's annot. on verso. AND 4 others from the same work: The St. Bavo-Church from the south-east (yellowed/ partly waterstained); 'Het Huis te Kleef', near Haarlem (yellowed, sm. closed tear in captions); Ground-plan of the St. Bavo-Church (sl. yellowed; tipped onto mount); Interior of the St. Bavo-Church (horizontal crease).
