An Empire mahogany gueridon CONDITION REPORT : Good overall condition despite the inevitable shocks and marks in accordance with age and use. Some scratches and marks to the marble top. Some scattered chips and dents to the external frame of the marble top. Some shrinkage cracks to the veneer in places (notably on the gueridon's "belt" - under the marble top). Few traces of gouging to the round-shaped uprights. Some shrinkage cracks to the gueridon's strut. Few stains to the veneer's varnish (to the gueridon's strut). One vertical split to the veneer (to the strut on the area above one of the three castors). One of the castors is slightly loosened and could benefit from strenghthening.
