Group of Miniature Tall Case Clocks Comprising six examples with metal mounted mahogany, walnut or oak cases and a Royal Bonn Delft blue and white pottery example. Height of tallest 19 3/4 inches . C
Clock Cases: Royal Bonn Delft Clock: restorations, including poor glue repair to a break on the front right facing leg, infilled/composition finial at top of hood, chip losses with some infilling and overpaint to losses at top of hood, etc., no winding key; retains a clock movement; signed; case not blacklighted; height 14 3/8 in. Wood-Cased Clocks: one example has a dial signed New Haven Clock Co.; another clock has a dial signed E. Artault; one clock is missing its finials; two clocks rock (do not stand straight) on a table surface; some with veneer losses; one clock has rippling to the veneer on its hood; one clock has a detached (but present) wood block from the side of its base; some abrasions noted with regard to some of the rim edges, etc.; no winding keys; some clocks retain pendulums; Please note that Doyle does not guarantee the clock movement and strongly recommends consulting a clock restorer if interested in bidding on the clock.
