Lot of four cabinet card albums containing a total of 159 photographs. Red velvet album containing 23 cabinet cards, mostly ca 1880s personal and group portraits with Norwich, NY, imprints. Notables include: a boy posed with a tricycle; a memorial card for S.C. Hayward (1815-1889); and a photograph of a memorial flora arrangement for Cora. Also included are newspaper and magazine clippings of a bishop and two reverends. Blue velvet album containing 24 ca 1880s cabinet cards, all with Upstate New York imprints. Most personal portraits, the most notable being a nice cabinet card of a girl wearing a hat adorned with daisies and holding an alligator leather purse. Blue and silver album containing 25 cabinet cards and 7 CDVs, ca 1880s-1890s, mostly portraits with Norwich, NY, imprints. Brown leather album with a nice colored floral design, containing 21 cabinet cards, 54 CDVs and 5 CDV-sized tintypes, most with Upstate New York imprints, including many from Delhi and Oneonta, NY. Condition: First three described albums with significant shelf wear and loose binding, leather album in better condition but also with loose binding. Interior pages and photographs mostly with light soiling.
