Group of Five Japanese Blue and White Glazed Porcelain Articles Comprising a lantern, globular jar with bird and flower design, covered jar with enameled figures, vase with a wide flat neck and ovoid body, and a dragon-form ewer. Height of tallest 10 inches. The Regal Collection
Bottle Vase: Overall good condition. Dragon missing right ear, middle finger on right hand restored. Lantern: Base- Base drilled to make lamp with deep ground groove in footrim to accommodate electrical wire. Shade- Hairline crack from top rim through medallion to bottom, one hairline crack through medallion. Jar: Without lid. Two vertical cracks at rim that come together, approximately 6 1/2 inches long, large firing crack at base, overall general wear. Vase with Applied Turtles: One turtle re-applied with restoration to all feet, one turtle re-applied with restoration to front feet, one turtle with restoration to front right foot and head, one turtle with restoration to front left foot; 3 inch hairline crack to large flared rim; restoration to chips at edge of rim Covered Jar: Wear to enamel and gilding, minor frits to footrim, finial on lid has been re-glued.
