Lot of 7. Two Confederate, 5 Union. Cdv with Campbell & Ecker, Louisville, KY backmark. On verso "Truly yours, J.A. Adams, Westford, Conn." Cdv with no photographer's ID, verso with "Truly yours J. Collins Morris I. S.C. Aug 18/ 64." Cdv, no photographer's ID, on verso is short service record of Capt. John H. Macomber, of Fairhaven, VT, 1st Vermont Heavy Artillery. Clipped crns. Cdv with backmark of G. Moses, Eclipse Gallery & Stock Depot, Quincy, IL. Front marked in pencil "Gen Cheatham." Benjamin F. Cheatham (1820-1886) was immediately appointed Brigadier General of the provisional army of Tennessee in May 1861, then B.G. of the provisional army of the Confederate States. Cdv with oval portrait; verso marked Jas. Rodgers, Qurs. Master Srgt. Someone has penciled in James T. Rodgers, 23rd Army Corps, Promotion 2nd Lieut Co. K, ???80th?? Cdv with "Butler Hinkle" on recto; verso has James B. Hinkle, Co. A, 33rd Ind. 9-16-61 / 7-21-65 (Corp). Cdv, backmark of C.S. Sanderson, Lewiston, Me.; verso with signature J.F. (John F.) Putnam, C.S. 17th Mis Vols. Condition: Generally with expected handling wear. Some light toning.
