GREAT WAR CASUALTY TRIO. 1914-15 Star, impressed (MAJOR C.O.N. WILLIAMS. R.LANC.R.), War and Victory (MAJOR C.O.N. WILLIAMS.), with a ribbon bar and Wound Badge (B13280). Awarded to Major Charles Oswald Nicholson Williams. King's own Royal Lancashire Regiment. Killed in action while in charge of his battalion, Hill 60, 2nd Dec 1915. Second son of Ben Williams C.B. of the Bengal Cavalry (see lot 520 in this catalogue). The Roll of Honour, Volume II, page 315.
