Two objects made of olive wood. Eretz Israel, [late 19th century]. 1. Spice container. Round and hollow body on which the inscription "Besamim… Jerusalem" (Hebrew and English) is printed. Screw-on bell shaped lid. Pinholes decorated with ornamental circles. Height: 15 cm, max. diameter: 6.5 cm. Good condition. Slight damages and breaks. 2. Goblet. Image of the Dome of the Rock is carved in front with a printed inscription: "Mekom Hamikdash" (Temple Mount). Additional inscription: "Jerusalem (Hebrew and English). Height: 13 cm, diameter of rim: 7.5 cm. Cracks at base. From the collection of Dr Simon Cohen.
