Folio (290×220mm.), manuscript on paper, i+152+ii leaves, watermarks of scissors, crossed arrows, and a letter R surmounted by a cross, closest to Briquet nos. 3668, 6271, and 8941 respectively, COMPLETE, collation: i18, ii14, iii12, iv-x14, xi10, the innermost and outermost folds of each quire with vellum reinforcing strips, some cut from a manuscript with numerical tables, foliated very sporadically in modern pencil (used here), ff.1v-3v, 19r, 141v-144r and 147v-154v blank, the tables foliated in late medieval arabic numerals 1-122 in ink (to convert these numbers to the modern pencil foliation used here, add 19), text pages frame-ruled and written in two columns of about 55 lines, spaces left for coloured initials, occasional marginal drawings of comets and eclipses(?) (e.g. ff.59r-v, 64r, 100r), sewn on three original(?) alum-tawed slit thongs, bound in later plain vellum over pasteboards (a few marginalia very slightly trimmed), the endleaves with a watermark of a crossbow within a circle surmounted by a fleur-de-lys, closest to Briquet nos. 760 (Florence, Lucca, Fabriano, 1520s), covers with vestiges of four ties, the joints cracking and with minor losses at the foot of the spine, paper labels inscribed "Iohanes | Bianchin[i] | Tabulae | Astronom|icae | Z", and "222" (or "229"?), in a modern folding cloth box with gilt leather title-piece
