A large two sheet map of the Electorate of Saxony detailing scenes of mining and mineral extraction with cutaway details of pumps and tunnels. Another vignette shows a group of instruments used in cartography. This map was first published by Matthaus Seutter in 1736. This example is a later edition by Seutter’s son-in-law, Tobias Conrad Lotter. (2)
