German Third Reich SS Model 1936 chained dagger. A good scarce parts example. The plated double edged blade bears etched motto 'Meine Ehre heist Treue' (My Honour is Loyalty) and correctly devoid of any maker's details. Black wooden grip with inlaid silvered eagle and swastika and enamelled SS Sigrunen. Housed in black painted scabbard with plated mounts, the middle band ornamented with interlinked stylised swastikas. Complete with chains of alternate SS Sigrunen and death's head links, one link marked with SS stamp on the reverse. GC
