GEISER, JEAN THEOPHILE (1848-1923) Eleven photographs or very fine-grain photogravures of Algiers . Each on a sheet of thin card, 7 5/8 x 9 7/8 (195 x 250 mm), one signed in pencil (l.r.). Geiser's studio was in business from 1874-1923. Though he issued albumen prints, these delicately vignetted scenes are more likely to be from his "Atelier Special pour la Phototypie," which we note in an advertisement of 1901-1902. C
