Folio, 346 x 235 mm., contemporary French mottled calf, spine gilt in seven compartments, morocco label, ends of spine repaired, upper joint slightly cracked, corners worn, plate 85 sprung, some minor discoloration at plate marks. FIRST EDITION, First Issue (re-issued with cancel title, adding Paris to imprint, in 1719). Engraved frontispiece after A. Bouisson and 100 engraved plates by and after Honoré Blanc, all with engraved captions, no. 35 with a contemporary manuscript pastedown slip. Hunt 434; Nissen BBI 685; Pritzel 3199.
