Galle Gilt and Enameled Molded Glass Stoppered Decanter Circa 1900 Of flattened form, in translucent amber colored glass, decorated on the front with a reserve depicting a Renaissance Queen in maroon and white enamel, the reverse with a feathered arrow, signed Emile Galle a Nancy deposee. Height 8 3/4 inches. An identical decanter is illustrated Ray & Lee Grover, Carved & Decorated European Art Glass, p. 157, pl. 250, in the collection Musee de l'Ecole de Nancy C Estate of Erica Lemle Amsterdam
Decanter: generally good condition, the interior appears to be generally clean, some wear to gilding and enameled decoration, small area of enamel loss along the bottom band on the reverse side; stopper: generally good condition, some minor wear and rubbing to the enameling and gilding, appears to be original
