Gallery Representation Featured on Visual Space, Nicosia, Cryprus ArtNet, New York, America Ocula, Hong Kong ArtzId, Malta Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork The focus of these drawings is the female breast. What is this mound of flesh located on the upper thorax of the female primate? What are the meanings and representations that have been given to it, by virtue of biology and society? What does its presence, its excess, imply, and what does the withdrawal of it signify? These and other questions are the essence of the drawings. Each drawing represents a different take on the breast, a symbol of sexuality, of nurturance, of life. Is the sucking life giving or is it lethal? Will binging quench the thirst? Can a paradoxical reversal of roles be the means to survival? How does the alloerotic satisfy the carnal desires of the flesh? The medium adopted was the use of willow and coloured pencils. The stance was a light and childlike one to signify the dependence, a stance of wonder, of amazement, of awe. You must not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any works. In doing so, you endanger our relationships with artists, and directly jeopardizes the charitable work we do. Anyone found doing will subject to legal action.
