RICHLY EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED with the insertion of approximately 200 extra engraved portraits, maps, plans, views and 17 original documents. Dark red levant morocco gilt, covers gilt-panelled with various floral and drawer-pull tools, gilt spines, t.e.g., others uncut.(Minor rubbing to joints and corners). A finely extra-illustrated set of Parkman's highly regarded study of the epic clash between France and England in North America and the climactic battle of Quebec.
