Approximately .70" bore flaring to a 2.5" elliptical muzzle. 9.125" octagonal-to-elliptical pinned barrel with baluster turned rings at the transition. 25" overall length. Snap bayonet mounted on top of barrel with 4.625" long concave blade. Unmarked rounded iron lock with round goose neck cock and round iron pan with roller frizzen. Iron furniture with palm swell at rear of trigger guard, urn shaped finials at front and rear, all furniture engraved en suite. Walnut stock checkered at the wrist with raised carved embellishments at the apron around the tang. Iron button head ramrod retained by two iron thimbles. Condition: Very good to fine. Brass barrel with lovely butterscotch patina, iron lock and furniture with silvery gray patina and speckled age discoloration and minor surface oxidation. Lock is mechanically functional. Snap bayonet functions but does not lock into latch at muzzled due to broken spring. Bayonet blade has an old repair at the tip.
